SMS / Text Messaging Terms of Service
SMS terms for Schwartsman Law Group PLLC: what texts we send, message frequency, data rates, how to reply STOP or HELP, and how your number is handled.
SMS / Text Messaging Terms of Service
These terms govern text messages (SMS) sent by Schwartsman Law Group PLLC. By providing your mobile number and opting in — for example, through our website forms, chat assistant, or by texting us — you agree to receive text messages from the firm as described below.
What You Are Consenting To
With your consent, we may send text messages about your inquiry or matter, including responses to case inquiries, status updates, appointment scheduling and reminders, document requests, and follow-ups to a consultation request. We do not use SMS for unrelated marketing lists.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on your inquiry and the activity in your matter. You will typically receive messages only in connection with something you asked about or scheduled.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Charges are billed by your mobile carrier under your wireless plan.
Opting Out
Reply STOP to any message to cancel and stop receiving texts from us. After you reply STOP, you may receive a single confirmation message stating that you have been unsubscribed. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at +1 212 518 3868 or ms@schwartsmanlaw.com.
Consent Is Not a Condition of Service
Consent to receive text messages is not required as a condition of purchasing or receiving any legal services from Schwartsman Law Group PLLC. You may work with the firm entirely by phone, email, or in person if you prefer.
Privacy
Your mobile number and message content are handled in accordance with our privacy practices and are not sold to third parties. For more on how the firm handles your information, see our disclaimer page or contact us directly.
Carrier Liability
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of SMS is subject to the coverage and technical limitations of your carrier.
No Attorney-Client Relationship by Text
Sending or receiving a text message does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship, and you should not send confidential or time-sensitive legal information by SMS until the firm has confirmed representation.
